Liefste Monika...

Het ontroert me!
Dear mam, I am very thankful to you that you had selected me for the education scholarship. I am very happy to hear that news and grateful to you. Thank you for your help. As you know, the huge earthquake stroke Nepal on 2015/04/25. From that earthquake many people had lost their life. But my family is very lucky being alive. When that earthquake occurred we were in the top floor and we were eating lunch. We all thought that we will be dead. My house is very old and made up of soil and brick so it is easily destroy. The roof of our house was destroyed as well as inside walls of our room had been cracked. When earthquake being little bit stop we all came out from our house bearing risk. Then we came to our neighbor house which was made up of cement thinking it will be safe to stay. That day we stayed in our neighbor house. Next day we went to stay at an open ground nearby. My neighbor helped my family by providing us food and water. Then after 4 days when the earthquake probability had been down we came back to see our house. As the roof had been destroyed the rain water had made the condition of house worse. For now we had managed plastic tent to cover my house. As the government are not providing the plastic tent sufficiently we had to buy the tent in credit. As the situation of the house is worse our neighbor has been providing us shelter too. Now we are in dilemma that where to live and what to eat. We are searching for rent room but it is very hard to find the room at this situation and if we get a room we have not money to pay. Because of that my mother is stressed. She had to look after my family. My grandparents and aunty are not able to do anything because of their old age. So my mother has to bare all the responsibility of my family. Because of that my mother is taking stress and tension and I don’t know how to manage all the things as I am young to do anything except taking care of her. It’s very difficult to live a life like this. But I have to make my future for my family and country. I just want to inform you that I and my family are safe and we are going through very difficult situation. Thank you….!!
